A Legacy for California Wildlife

About

A Legacy for California Wildlife

The majority of Californians love wild spaces, and the wild animals that inhabit them. Yet in planning our estates few of us consider wildlife and wild spaces in our Wills.

It's our mission to change that.

Wild Wills seeks to simplify the process of making your Will and helping organizations that support wildlife and wild spaces. This site provides an easy-to-use form to create your Will, that can include your favorite advocacy and stewardship organizations. By leaving these organizations in your Will, you can leave a lasting legacy for California wildlife and wild lands.

Take a look at our list of participating organizations, and read about their work. In choosing one of the participating organizations you are making a commitment to protect wildlife and wild spaces for future Californians to enjoy.

Thank you for all that you do.

Food Empowerment Project

Food Empowerment Project (F.E.P.) is a vegan food justice nonprofit that promotes veganism, fights for farm workers, works on lack of access to healthy foods in communities of color, and encourages people not to buy chocolate sourced from the worst forms of child labor. We advocate for the protection of animals who live in our oceans and against the killing of "nuisance" animals or predators who prey on animals raised for food.

The Bird Rescue Center

The Bird Rescue Center is a rehabilitation center for Sonoma County’s wild native birds. Our mission is to assist in the rescue, treatment and release of injured, orphaned or ill birds in the northern San Francisco Bay Area, and to educate the public regarding their ecological importance.

WildCare

WildCare cares for as many as 4,000 ill, injured and orphaned wild animals every year, and we teach nearly 40,000 children and adults every year. We can't heal animals, educate the next generation or advocate for wildlife without your help!
